Sundown in Emmetten

While Nid- and Obwalden might not be the most visited region of Switzerland, they sure have a lot to offer. Situated at the shore of the Vierwaldstättersee, not far away from Lucerne, the mountains rise up steep to the Klewenalp, which has a cable car connection from Emmetten. From here magnificient sunsets can be watched, opzionally with a typical swiss picnic like Raclette or Cervelat over the grill. Don't forget to take warm clothes though, as it can still get quite chill after sundown!
